Once called “America’s Stonehenge,” these mysterious granite slabs were destroyed in 2022.
People still stop nearby to see what’s left and learn the bizarre story.

Exit 29 • ~12 min from I-95
Surreal landscape of giant sun-bleached driftwood trees.
Feels more like a movie set than a beach—great for photos.
💣 Cannon Firing at Castillo de San Marcos – St. Augustine, FL
Exit 318 • ~10 min from I-95
Historic fort where costumed rangers fire real cannons on weekends.
Loud, smoky, and unforgettable.
