Virginia’s I-95 corridor passes through Fredericksburg, Quantico, and the DC suburbs. Maryland’s I-95 runs through Baltimore โ home to the National Aquarium, Fort McHenry, and Camden Yards โ and past the Chesapeake House travel plaza, one of the best rest stops on the entire East Coast. Delaware is only 23 miles of I-95 but has zero sales tax โ good reason to stop for snacks. Coming: Delaware hub page.
๐ฝ New Jersey (NJ Turnpike)
New Jersey’s I-95 is the NJ Turnpike, running from the Delaware Memorial Bridge all the way to the George Washington Bridge into New York. Named service areas (Vince Lombardi, Thomas Edison, Molly Pitcher) are consistently clean with multiple food options. I-95 through New York crosses the Bronx via the Cross Bronx Expressway and connects to New England via the New England Thruway.
